Hey there! I am Sharon Knight, a touring musician in the folk-fantasy vein. I’ve created this blog to explore the realms that inspire me.
At the core of these musings is the notion that we live in a deeply enchanted world. If it doesn’t seem this way, it’s because we have forgotten how to see it. I believe perception is a habit. We outgrow the ability to see magic and wonder because we are expected to as grown-ups.
I believe “reality” is a whole lot more fluid than most of us were led to believe.
I’d like to make everyone’s life a little more “Harry Potter” and a little less “Bank Fraud”.
I believe magic is real.
I believe songs can change the world.
I aspire to shape my world in accordance with the principles of beauty, poetry, and wonder. I want to see the world through romance-colored glasses.
In these musings, I hope to demonstrate that every moment can be lived with a sense of beauty, poetry and wonder. Every day can be an epic adventure. And it doesn’t even require much money. It only requires your imagination.
This blog is about kindling imagination. A nimble and fluid imagination generates ideas that change lives, and ideas that change lives change the world.
